Grieving over the loss of my wedding planning

It's been almost 4 months since I said "I do" to my beautiful husband, they have been the best months, the hardest months, the most growth provoking months, the most exciting, and most of all the happiest 4 months of my life. But, truth be told I am having withdrawals from wedding planning, and the constant obsession I had with blogging and creating. I also am having the hardest time sleeping lately, hens this 2am post on something almost meaningless.  I know that you are all grateful. I also know I have hardly no blog readers so I am most likely writing this for myself and my own ability to look back on it and read and remember this evening in my life. I need to work on my fan base. ANYWHO- it's Fall. We live in Utah. You're all smarty pants havers so I know you know where I'm going with this. Which are the most popular wedding seasons here in utah? ALL of them! We're mormon! I know just as well as you that couples here tie the knot each and everyday (but sunday!) and that makes my job easier. (photography) not to mention gives me so much inspiration to help all you bride to be's who are sitting there pulling out your hair and banging your head against your bed post as we speak. Not to worry dear gems Danielle is here to help. Don't be fooled into thinking you're the only bridezilla first of all. Also don't believe in the term bridezilla. There is no such thing. You're the bride and this is your special day. You have most likely dreamt this day up in your head since the time you were able to process thoughts consecutively, who is to say that you are not allowed to be at your whits end with your florist who seems to have thought you said lily's when you clearly ordered peonies. Never fear we have all been there. I may have been worse than other brides so I can honestly say I support you in your griping and screaming at whomever is in proximity to your un wanted wedding details. My husband, would not agree, but whose asking him anyway?! Well this fall I am a married women, which means I can spend more time enjoying the season and helping others figure out their wedding then sulking over the fact that there is not yet a ring on my finger from my much loved man of 3 years (don't get me wrong, it's GOOD to date for a while, just didn't think that as I was doing the dating) This fall, more like tonight because.... im awake, I have taken it upon myself to share with you my list of

"would have, should have, could have" all things wedding!

First and foremost:
- be different!
We live in Utah ladies, everyone and their dog is getting married and if you're the first or the last in your little group you will always want you day to be as personal as possible. The things that stand out the most are the things that nobody else has done. So pick a different dress that you would have never imagined using as a bridesmaids dress, find patterns that you would usually use as pillow covers, and decorate with food! Fall to me = neutral tones with a rich color splash.

I will begin with dresses. These from Modcloth.com

Secondly,
If there is one thing I would do for my fall wedding it's use Damask. The most gorgeous and wonderful print I have ever seen. If I could I would wall paper every wall in my home with this pattern. BUT since that is not possible I would suggest it as a wedding staple.

...OH MY GOSH! I can't get enough! And I can't believe how absolutely perfect this is for the fall. It's just such a rich and lush print. Not to mention it's so classy and elegant. Trust me friends, USE THIS!

How about a wonderful
Shoe and bridesmaids decor!

 These are beautiful shoes !

And then how adorable are these to decorate your bridesmaids bouquets?!
Oh my can I please do it over again?!

Aside from this yellow obsession I am on currently, I have found more glorious frocks. Never fear my friends, there are always beautiful dresses to don as you're ladies lead you down the isle (or whatever the case may be)

How cute is that pink dress?! Oh sweet heaven, non LDS brides take that bad boy and run with it I say! and imagine how much fun you could have with those colors?

ENJOY!
