i'm shocked he's asleep because i have all the lights on ha ha. what a sweet boy.
Anyway,
WE'RE MARRIED!
My wedding day. What can I say about it other than it was a surreal blur... the best state of contentness i could ever imagine. I always herd that you plan and plan and plan but once you come out of the temple you could really care less if the flowers look perfect or the tablecloths are right.. you're just so happy that you dont care about anything. It's true. at least for me it was. It was the happiest day of my life, nothing could have ruined it. nothingEverything was amazing, i could not have asked for a more perfect week leading up to my wedding. My endowment was on Wed the 19th, and to be honest i can't begin to describe the feeling i had that day. i woke up and cried (tears of joy) got my nails done and cried (again) then called Amy to talk about how i was shocked at what was going to take place today. it just didn't seem real. i couldn't believe that i was going to enter the temple, and i was going to be endowed. it was just too much for my brain and heart to handle. it felt like the day just went by in the blink of an eye and before i knew it Tanner and I and his mom were on our way to draper to the temple. the minute i got inside i started balling. I will never forget the look on his face when he saw me for the first time inside the temple. What a blesssing it is to be able to enter into the temple. I'm so grateful for everyone who came to my endowment. Cory and Lyndsey thank you so much! It was so cool to have Cory there especially being that he baptized me, it was a moment i had thought about for a long time. Thank you! I love the temple. I love the spirit there, the things i learned and felt and the man I saw there and was then able to marry two days later. I will testify that the temple is a holy place and one that would be visited often for worthy couples. I love every bit of the privledge i have to go there whenever i want. Friends, go to the temple. Allow the Lord to bless your life, it has blessed mine.
Wednesday- my parents and sister got here as well as Tanners parents, they finally got to meet! Only took them two and a half years. It was so fun, we went to dinner at the gateway with both our famalies, and i was a bit worried. most people know my family is straight off a sitcom so i wasn't sure how Tanner's family would react but they got along famously! I love my family so much, and my new family as well!
I also love Julie and Ross. Julie was my first friend when I moved to Rochester. She has stayed my best friend ever since... from 5th grade to my wedding day she's been there. Ross oh Rossey poo.. i've known Ross since 6th grade and he is the most stand up guy there is. I love you! I'm so grateful that you two could be here and we absolutely love you both so much. Who would have though huh guys? I can't believe we're this old. Oh to go back to VH, when Ross rocked those hawaiian shirts or Barclays old DMB t shirts. but at least we're past "jorts" .......sick. SO SO fun.
(oh...just grabbing my best friends face)
