Now, our Valentines day was..

GREAT!
Valentines day fell on a sunday this year,
and as most of you know we don't go out on sundays aka we don't break the sabbath.
(ps.. anyone want to throw some ideas my way of what you married folk do on sundays? fun activities? dinner? drives? let me know! please..)
But even without having to go out on a sunday, without spending any money, without making anyone work we had an amazing day!

After church we decided to take a drive. The weather was beautiful, as it has been most winter; so we decided to really take advantage. We went for a drive up on highland drive, one of our favorite roads? why, i'm not sure. we like to go to the pinnacle highland apartments because they are so high upon the hill. We were driving through and what did we stumble upon? some horses! I love ponies! We got out and took some pictures with them and played.. we are both really big animal lovers, it was so fun.

After church we drove around went to the park, and just finished up our wonderful sunday drive. We were invited to Chet and Jory's for dinner but that wasn't until about 6 so we have some time left.

We decided to go home and watch the olympics. i freaking love the olympics, i just think they are the coolest thing! We ended up falling asleep and having a little sunday nap, always a joy, and woke up just in time to head over to "The Hamiltons" Jory made us a fabulous dinner of roast and mashed potatoes and her excellent rolls (I have to get the recipe from you Jor) i wish i could cook as well as Jory. i think if i had a home and a crock pot i could make a pretty mean roast! we had fun playing with Jack, who is now a full blown little boy. it blows my mind how fast time has gone. we also watched couples retreat.

that show is absolutely hilarious. i think vince vaughn is one of the funniest actors in hollywood.

after dinner and the movie Tanner and I went home and enjoyed the wonder box of (pink) chocolate covered strawberries he bought be from Zupas! They were amazing! I love him, I loved them. Oh my what a perfect Valentines!

Next time I make a roast I will make you watch me the whole time. It really is the easiest dinner in the whole world. As far as Sunday activities go... We are either at our parent's houses or here doing pretty much what you witnessed on Sunday. Being lazy... I think in the summer we will go to the park with Jack or go on walks or something fun like that.
