Candy Buffets
to me are the coolest thing addition to any party.
I don't think they are to be used as a source of substance, but for decoration and just to glam it up a little
i think they are just fabulous!
The only problem I have found when looking at these candy buffets is the price.
Jars
The jars themselves are expensive, and then you have to pack them with candy. I did come across this website that sells them for a bit cheaper, i'm excited! IKEA is usually a safe bet for all things you want to save money on... although in this department I didn't find much. I found this, and this brandy glass, these beer glasses could be used to stuff in candy sticks or licorice. this glass serving bowl would be great! I think adding cookies or macaroons would be a great idea, which could be displayed in this cake dish. and of course cupcakes could be a sweet addition displayed on this lovely number.
Walmart: thank you.

I have been looking into candy buffets for a little while now and other websites have also said hobby lobby, TJ Maxx and stores like that are great placed to find these jars.
Now, the only problem I run into is supplying the candy.
Not only that but not spending hundreds on the candy. you figure you will probably spend about 200 on the glassware alone, ouch!
Candy
thats when it hit me...
I recently had a conversation with my best friend about how expensive wedding decor is, along with this we decided that it would be much cheaper to just decorate our entire wedding out of the oriental trading company catalog. who remembers that? it got delivered to my house every month, it made me constantly want to throw a party and dec it out with glow in the dark aliens! false. I did however remember that they sold candy. I decided to take a look. and whatdoya know...
as luck may have it i found a few items.
i'm still on the hunt!
but it seems that in all honesty this is the best place to go, they have absolutely everything you can imagine. it's pricey, but it's convenient.
