T minus 5 days until Christmas!
I love winter.
I think it's amazingly beautiful.
I hate snow however.
Growing up in Michigan really tests your patience when it comes to snow. We pretty much lived in a blizzard from the month of November clear through April at times. It was something I really disliked about growing up there. Another thing was how cold the snow was. Here it's a different type of cold. It doens't go through your clothes and chill your bones, it's just a normal freezing cold. All in all I honestly don't think I would mind living in California or Arizona, where snow was an option, made available to you with a short drive to Colorado or Utah. I mean, who disagrees? Probable most of you considering this is Utah, and EVERYONE here snowboards or ski's, with the exception of me of course. That shall change, I promise. In other news, I was looking at a girls blog the other day, one I don't know, not at all.. I'm not sure how I came across it but her blog is awesome. I'm so insanely jealous of people who have incredible blogging abilities. I'm a photographer, i'm addicted to art of all forms, so blogging and having a cool arty blog is something I pray for much to attain. I'm trying. Anyway, while looking at her blog I read that there were blizzards scattered around the country, one of which was in Washington DC. She must live there. She posted a series of pictures and I coulnd't help but snag one. I will give her credit for it here and tell everyone this is NOT my photo nor are any of the ones to follow in this post. I just adored these pictures. Lovely.

{conclusion: I'm jealous I wasn't there to take these pictures my self. Major hi fives to the gorgeous girl who did, she and her blog are amazing}
We have only had the big snow storm here so far, the one where the temp dropped to a blistering 3 degrees and the snow poored out of the sky like a snow globe.
